Marine Energy Wales attended the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Celtic Sea’s inaugural meeting last week.
This group has been established in response to the significant opportunity that development in the Celtic Sea could offer the South West England and South West Wales regions.
The group aims to demonstrate cross-party support and will take action to highlight the economic and transportation potential of the Celtic Sea. We are delighted that a number of Welsh MPs have shown interest in attending this group to represent the Welsh interest. As part of this group, we will continue to emphasise to decision-makers the significant opportunity that floating offshore wind offers to Wales and the South West and the associated benefits that collaboration across the regions can bring.
