Transition Bro Gwaun (TBG) are a community group based in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire and are one of a growing number of transition initiatives around the world. They are currently looking into a community-owned tidal turbine project off Strumble Head and are advertising for a part time Administrator/Project support Officer.

This is a new post, funded for 2 years from October 2016 that is central to the success of the investment made by the LEADER programme. Its prime objectives are to provide administration and other support to the Tidal Flow project. Work as part of a team of TBG volunteers including the Project Coordinator and TBG Project Manager, also the Project Development Officer.

Within the key development stages of the tidal flow project, beyond the core responsibilities of this post, there are also opportunities to be involved in this exciting and innovative community led project within a new and emerging market. Officers and volunteers will be provided with opportunities for training and visits to sites in the UK and EU.

This is a new post and will be based in Goodwick. This position plays a key role within the success of the project, through administration and financial reporting mechanisms for LEADER and other project partners. Assisting with events and other activities to promote the Tidal project across the marine energy and community sectors.
