Marine Energy Wales has contributed to the newly published Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) note on Marine Renewables.
The Marine Renewables POST note examines marine renewable technologies, their projections for growth and how the sector might develop. It covers the progress of the sector, includes brief case studies and highlights issues on revenue and subsidy support.
POST s a bicameral body that bridges research and policy and produces impartial, non-partisan, and peer-reviewed briefings, designed to make scientific research accessible to the UK Parliament.
The briefings come in the form of POSTnotes and POSTbriefs. Timely and forward thinking, they cover the areas of biology and health, energy and environment, physical sciences and computing, and social sciences.
