Wave-tricity are delighted to announce that the contract to build their new energy device has been awarded to Mainstay Marine Solutions, Pembroke.
This first major work package of the innovative wave energy converter development project will see Wave-tricity bring the world it’s first commercially viable, real world wave energy converter, that will not only provide energy to homes across the globe, but is aimed also at nations/islands principally where the cost of generation and energy security are of national importance. It will also be utilised to offer a desalination solution and to assist Disaster Relief providing a rapidly deployable and robust device from which to generate clean water and energy to disaster hit regions across the world.

The Ocean Wave Rower, which has been developed by Wave-tricity, is part-funded by a £4m investment from the European Regional Development Fund via the Welsh Government.
