Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum is delighted to have received funding from the Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) to support the development of their new marine energy supply chain project.
In this project, Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (the team behind initiatives such as Marine Energy Wales and Marine Energy Pembrokeshire) aims to help local companies understand the opportunities presented by the marine energy sector.
The project will assess the supply chain capabilities of Pembrokeshire companies with the potential to diversify into the marine energy industry, and will also provide stakeholder engagement and ‘Meet the Buyer’ opportunities for these companies. Ultimately, this project seeks to provide local supply chain companies with long term economic and environmental sustainability.
The first stakeholder engagement event is being held on 14th September and registration is open here.
The Sustainable Development Fund, administered by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, supports projects that provide long term social, environmental, economic and cultural benefits for Pembrokeshire people and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. More information about this fund can be found here.
This is match funding to money awarded by LEADER.
