Minesto is a world-leading marine energy technology developer with the mission to minimize the global carbon footprint of the energy industry by enabling commercial clean energy production from tidal and ocean currents. Minesto’s award-winning and patented product, Deep Green, is applicable in areas where no other known technology can operate cost-effectively.
The company is on track to deliver its first commercial project. In Holyhead Deep off the coast of North Wales, the first Deep Green power plant array will gradually be installed, starting with a commercial-scale demonstrator planned for commissioning in 2018. Minesto has been awarded a €13m investment from the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh European Funding Office for the commercial roll-out of Deep Green.
Project Manager
They are looking for an experienced candidate who initially will take over the management of the final assembly, installation, commissioning and operation of Minesto’s Deep Green 500 Project. This is a single commercial-scale demonstrator power plant, planned for operation Summer 2018.
The role, previously based in Gothenburg, has now moved to Holyhead in Wales, close to the installation site and the proposed expansion into a multi device array in future phases.

HSQE Manager
The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance and information on all aspects of health, safety, quality & environment to all levels of the company; ensuring that all staff are fully competent and receive continuous HSQE development and training.
You will update and implement a full HSQE system and procedures for all Minesto’s operations at the Group level. This includes the onshore assembly sites and offshore site in Holyhead Deep Anglesey, the test site in Northern Ireland and the office and workshops in Sweden. You will also ensure continuous improvement across all sites’ and HSQE performance based on site inspections and audits.
