With just 2 months to go until their inaugural conference, Marine Energy Wales are delighted to confirm Welsh Government as a platinum sponsor for the event.

Building on 7 successful years of Marine Energy Pembrokeshire seminars this is the first event since the launch of Marine Energy Wales in November, and will be taking place in the Liberty Stadium on 30th March.

Welsh Government has been a key supporter of Marine Energy Pembrokeshire since its inception in 2010, and continues to support Marine Energy Wales. Both are committed to developing the marine energy sector and continue to bring together expertise across government, industry and academia in order to focus on the delivery of projects in Welsh waters.

Ken Skates AM, Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure will be giving a keynote speech at the conference.

He said: “I am delighted the Welsh Government is a key sponsor for this event that will provide a great platform to highlight some of the exciting and highly innovative projects that are being developed in Wales. It presents an opportunity to promote what Wales can offer the industry and will bring together key players in the sector to network and discuss and explore investment opportunities.”

The event has always been fully booked and this year will be no different with tickets selling fast. The conference will showcase Wales as a global leader in the marine energy industry bringing together technology developers, supply chain, government, academia and the public sector.
