Tickets are now available for MEW2026, the UK’s largest marine renewable energy conference, which this year will take place in Llandudno.
Designed to bring together industry leaders, experts, researchers and policymakers, the two-day event will take place on April 28th & 29th at Venue Cymru, with tickets and exhibition opportunities on sale now.
Following the recent announcement of contracts for two Welsh wind farms, it’s hoped the event can provide a timely platform for the industry to explore what comes next for floating offshore wind and tidal stream projects in Wales, along with their supply chains.
Attendees can look forward to a thoughtfully curated programme, which this year will include sessions on the Celtic Sea, consenting tidal stream projects, planning our future workforce and opportunities for Welsh suppliers within the industry. There will also be a dedicated session on tidal lagoon research, following a sold-out session at last year’s event.
You can find the full programme line-up, including keynote addresses here.
As ever, the our exhibition hall offers an unmissable opportunity to meet the teams behind emerging projects, connect with decision makers, identify business opportunities and position your organisation at the forefront of Wales’ marine energy sector.
To encourage early commitment and support our planning, we’re currently offering a 10% discount on all exhibition bookings confirmed on or before February 27th 2026.
This year’s event will also include a Research and Innovation Zone, sponsored by Wales’ national Marine Energy Test Area (META), highlighting the innovative technologies already being deployed to reduce risk, improve performance and support consenting. Applications are currently open for consideration.
North Wales is a fitting home for MEW2026. It is at the heart of Welsh tidal energy and a key region for offshore wind, making Llandudno and Venue Cymru the ideal setting for the sector to come together at a pivotal moment.
With projects now moving from ambition into delivery, MEW2026 is about turning momentum into action. Bringing the full marine energy ecosystem under one roof creates the conditions for honest conversations, practical collaboration and real progress. This is where ideas are tested, partnerships are formed, and the next phase of Wales’ marine energy future starts to take shape.
