The SELKIE Project is developing an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) decision-support tool for the marine renewable energy industry. It will allow users to:
1) simulate operations across the life cycle considering uncertain factors e.g. weather and failures and their impact on the costs and duration of a project;
2) optimise the logistics required for the installation and O&M phase of marine energy technologies e.g. port, offshore vessel fleet, activity schedule etc.
SELKIE have developed a survey and are seeking industry input to identify what strategies the tool should be able to test and gather information to form generic case-studies. We would appreciate your input on the development of the tool which will be made open source for the industry to use. Please fill and share the survey.
SELKIE LOGISTICS QUESTIONNAIRE (if you have issues opening with windows explorer please use Google Chrome). The survey will be open until the 1st December 2020.
