Marine Energy Wales State of the Sector 2021

On Monday 19th July 2021, Marine Energy Wales is launching the fifth iteration of our ‘State of the Sector’ report, looking at the socioeconomic benefits the marine renewable energy industry brings to Wales.

Revealed will be some exciting facts and figures about how the sector has been progressing over the last year in the face of the ongoing pandemic as well as a forward look at what’s next for the sector. Joining us will be speakers from some of the leading marine energy companies driving the growth in jobs and investment up and down the country: Minesto, Bombora, Marine Power Systems and Blue Gem Wind.

The report highlights the findings of an industry survey conducted by Marine Energy Wales and provides information on wave, tidal stream, tidal range, and floating offshore wind energy projects.

The report will be launched in an online webinar. Presentations and a programme summary will be available to download after the event.
