Verdant Isles Ltd
Verdant Power has teamed up with Duggan Renewables to develop a number of sites in Ireland and the UK, with Verdant Isles being created as a vehicle to develop tidal farms. Within the next six years, Verdant Isles aims to have 40 MW of tidal energy commissioned, with multiples of the same coming on stream in the following years. This would mean an investment of €100m, plus the potential to create up to 250 sustainable jobs.
Wave Dragon was the worlds first grid connected wave energy technology. They have over 20,000 hours of prototype operational experience and are now developing commercial units of 4MW each, totaling arrays of 30MW.
